Together with Sibel Kekilli Idil Üner is easily the most popular German actress with a Turkish ancestry at the moment. Like many others before her, Idil started her career with a small role in the famous Tatort series as well as other made for German TV productions. She owes her big break to the German-Turkish director Fatih Akin who gave her important parts in two of his most critically acclaimed films. The pair first worked together in 1998 when she starred in the highly successful Kurz und Schmerzlos which won the Adolf Grimme Award (for best director and male leading actors) as well as the Bavarian Film Award (best direction – young film) and that officially made the actress a star. Only two years later they reteamed for the romantic comedy Im July where Idil played the love interest of Moritz Bleibtreu who achieved worldwide stardom for his leading role in Lola Rennt (aka in English as Run Lola Run). The funny thing about the relationship of those two people is that in 2001 they traded sides: in the short film Die Liebenden vom Hotel Osman Idil Üner directed and starred while Fatih Akin for once was allowed to concentrate on acting. They obviously did well since her direction earned her the German Short Film Award as well as the special jury award at the Huesca Film Festival. Normally someone would absolutely expect an actress of Idil’s heritage to be quite Skingy and uptight in terms of nudity but in this special case the German environment obviously rubbed off on her. She first crossed our SkinOscopic radar here at Skin Central Germany back in 1995 in her cinematic debut Das Geheimnis. There the dark-haired beauty bared not only her well-rounded and quite thick-nippled love pillows on two different occasions but also her heart-shaped and not very small buttocks while going for a skinny dip. Four years later she went topless again for a sauna scene in the made for TV thriller Spuren im Eis – Eine Frau sucht die Wahrheit. Idil’s grapefruits look obviously a little bit saggier than before but who actually cares about that?
